Coach Highlight – Ranger Kielak

Ranger Kielak

CM: Why did you enter TCE? And/or, what did you want to get out of it?RK: I entered TCE because I saw how valuable it was to be coached by a current student in the course. I saw my relationship improve, my mindset shift to one of resourcefulness, and myself become an overall better communicator. I figured that if I was getting all of that by being coached by someone, it was just be exponentially greater to be trained AS coach! I got all of what I mentioned and then some. I started my own coaching practice and have been able to help multiple people do the same thing I was able to do as a client.

CM: What is the most valuable thing you got out of TCE?

RK: The ability to truly and deeply listen. Not just to hear what the other is saying, but to hear what is underneath everything- all the noise and everything else. It’s been fantastic.

CM: Did your reasons for entering the program change through the program?

RK: Not really. I came in wanting to develop the skills mentioned before, and I did just that.

CM: What are you doing now with your coaching education?

RK: I am currently using my skill to walk across America! I am podcasting, coaching folks along the way, and having stronger, deeper connections and conversations with folks.

CM: When did you complete the Transformative Coaching Essentials program and what are some of the most valuable things you got out of it?

RK: I completed the Transformative Coaching Essentials (TCE) program in January 2024. The most valuable skills I gained from this experience revolve around helping my clients gain clarity on their vision and create actionable steps to achieve it.

TCE provided me with tools and techniques to guide clients in not only defining what they truly want but also in developing a concrete plan for how to get there. This process of deep visualization and strategic planning has been instrumental in facilitating meaningful progress for my clients.

CM: Do you consider yourself a life coach? If no, how would you describe who you are professionally?

RK: Yes, I do consider myself a life coach, but more specifically, I identify as a Holistic Success Coach for entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders. My approach involves helping leaders take a comprehensive view of both their personal and professional lives.

I believe that challenges in one area can often originate from another, so I guide my clients in creating a balanced strategy that addresses their entire life. This holistic perspective allows them to achieve true success and fulfillment, both in their businesses and their personal lives.

CM: What would you say to somebody who told you they were thinking about becoming a life coach?

RK: I would say, go for it! Becoming a life coach isn’t just about helping others; it’s an incredible journey of self-development as well. The skills you acquire, particularly through programs like Transformative Coaching Essentials (TCE), are incredibly valuable and versatile.

Whether you decide to pursue coaching as a career, use these skills to enhance your personal life, or apply them in your current work, the knowledge and techniques you gain will empower you to create meaningful change both for yourself and those around you.

CM: What is one misperception you believe people have about coaches (whether designated “life coach” or something else)?

RK: A common misperception I often hear about coaches, especially life coaches, is that it’s ‘too woo-woo’ or that coaches aren’t properly trained. The truth is, effective coaching is actually based on solid techniques and practical strategies.

Many coaches go through extensive training and certification, like TCE, to ensure they’re ready to help clients make real, measurable progress. It’s not just about abstract ideas; it’s about creating a structured plan to help people grow and reach their goals.

CM: Are you a full-time coach?

RK: Yes.

CM: What is your coaching specialty?

RK: My coaching specialty lies in empowering impact-driven entrepreneurs to transform their vision into actionable steps by clarifying their goals and creating a strategic path to achieve them.

CM: Do you have a website dedicated to your coaching business?RK: Yes. Please visit me at https://www.offthecomma.com/.

CM: Do you have social media accounts that you use primarily for your coaching business?

RK: Yes. Please connect with me on
