CM: What is one misperception you believe people have about coaches (whether designated “life coach” or something else)?
DJ: A lot of people think coaches are there to give answers and lead the way. “The answers” and “the way” come from within the client. Coaching is not an easier way to success, but a way to better and more sustained success. Even the word “success” should be defined by the client.

DJ: I specialize in creativity and integration coaching: helping people remove roadblocks to expression and turn insights into transformational action.CM: Are you a full-time coach?

DJ: I’m a solo musician and songwriter, specializing in “self-help rock”. I play in and around the Sacramento area under the name, “Isle of Stipe”. Next year I will be traveling across the country and playing in as many states as I can.
CM: Do you have a website dedicated to your coaching business?
