Coach Highlight – Jamie Lee

When did you complete the Transformative Coaching Essentials program and what are some of the most valuable things you got out of it?

I completed the Transformative Coaching Essentials program in August 2025. Some of the most valuable things I gained were accountability—what it truly means and how to live it—and the power of feedback. Before this program, I could take feedback, but not nearly as openly or effectively as I do now. I’ve learned to see it not as criticism, but as a powerful tool for growth. I also learned how to quiet the sabotaging voice that once kept me small. Another profound gift was being reminded of the power of community—the safety of being vulnerable, supported, and seen among others walking their own journey. I walked into this program barely hanging on, and I walked out standing firmly in my power. That transformation, that reclamation of myself, is the greatest gift this program gave me.

Do you consider yourself a life coach? If no, how would you describe who you are professionally?

I don’t necessarily call myself a ‘life coach’—I see myself as more than a title. I’m a transformational guide, a truth-teller, and a space holder for deep healing. My work isn’t about giving quick fixes; it’s about helping people step into their power, face the parts of themselves they’ve been avoiding, and create real, lasting change. Coaching for me is not just a profession—it’s a calling. I merge intuition, lived experience, and practical tools to walk alongside people through their most important transitions. So while I do coach, I identify more as a guide who activates transformation.

What would you say to somebody who told you they were thinking about becoming a life coach?

I would tell them: absolutely do it. Not just for others, but for yourself. The transformation that takes place within you is profound. Coaching requires you to first look inward, and when that change begins within you, it naturally extends outward to everyone around you. It’s a ripple effect of growth and empowerment. Becoming a coach doesn’t just equip you to serve others—it reshapes your own life in the most powerful way. It will change your life for the better.

What is one misperception you believe people have about coaches (whether designated “life coach” or something else)?

One of the biggest misperceptions people have about coaches is that we’re here to give you all the answers or tell you how to live your life. That’s not what true coaching is. A real coach doesn’t hand you a script—they help you uncover your own answers, your own power, and your own truth. Another misperception is that coaching is surface-level ‘motivation.’ The work I do goes much deeper—it’s about transformation, healing, and guiding people through real change that lasts.

What is your coaching specialty?

My coaching specialty is guiding people through the kind of transformation that shakes them awake and shifts their lives at the core. I work with individuals who are ready to face the parts of themselves they’ve hidden, heal from generational and personal trauma, and step fully into the power they’ve always carried but may not have known how to access. I help people navigate profound life transitions, reclaim their voice, and trust their intuition as a compass for bold, aligned action. This isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level motivation—this is about real, lasting change that disrupts old patterns, awakens potential, and ignites a life of true purpose and authenticity.

Are you a full-time coach?

I’m working toward being a full-time coach. Right now, I’m co-leading a sacred women’s circle with my partner, Yumi—a space where women can gather safely, be seen, share, and heal together. I’m also developing workshops on topics like overcoming the sabotaging voice, healing trauma, and other transformative tools I’ve found invaluable in my own journey. My goal is to expand my reach, travel, and create multiple coaching projects, helping as many people as possible step into their power and live fully aligned lives. Coaching isn’t just what I do—it’s what I believe in, and I’m committed to making this my full-time mission.

What do you do other than coaching?

Outside of coaching, I’m deeply engaged in work and practices that feed my soul and expand my ability to serve others. I work with battered women and in suicide prevention—areas that are profoundly important to me and where I’ve dedicated years of energy, compassion, and care. I’m also an ordained minister, which I primarily use to officiate weddings for friends—a sacred role I treasure. Creativity is another cornerstone of my life: I’ve been writing poetry for many years as a tool for healing, transformation, and self-expression, and I’ve also written plays, which allow me to explore storytelling and human experience in dynamic ways. Beyond that, I lead sacred women’s circles, develop workshops, and engage deeply with spiritual practices that strengthen my intuition, connect me to ancestral wisdom, and inform the work I do with clients. All of these paths—service, creativity, spirituality—intertwine to shape how I guide, heal, and inspire others.

Do you have a website dedicated to your coaching business?

I don’t have a dedicated website yet, but I’m actively working on creating one. For now, my Instagram serves as the primary space where I share insights, resources, and updates about my coaching work.

Do you have social media accounts that you use primarily for your coaching business?

Yes, I currently use my personal Instagram page to share insights and updates related to my coaching work. I’m also considering creating a dedicated Instagram specifically for my coaching business in the future.
