“Our past experiences and our present circumstances have absolutely no power other than [what] we choose to give them.” Bob Proctor, from The ABCs of Success.

It is so hard at times for people to see beyond their past experiences and their current circumstances.  It is easy to believe we have “no choice” over our circumstances.  While it may be true that we have little to no choice about the circumstances themselves, we do have ultimate choice over how we respond to our current circumstances and how we view our past experiences.  In this choice lies ultimate freedom and power.
